Letter to the editor | License plate readers an invasion of privacy

I work in Tacoma and drive through Gig Harbor all the time. I do NOT approve of this invasion of my privacy and my license plate being read without my consent or knowledge must less it being given to any 3rd party. I don’t know that persons back ground. I don’t want to feel unsafe in my home knowing that just anyone can have my information whether for good intentions or not. I do NOT want my license plate information on any 3rd party sites or saved.
