Robert John Boll Sr

Rob Boll, beloved husband, father, grandfather and son went to be with the Lord on September 22 at the age of 61.

Rob and his wife Kathy left the Gig Harbor area and moved to Independence, KS last year seeking a more peaceful life in the country, which they certainly found. Rob instantly in love with the area and told his wife he’d be happy never leaving the state. Rob was a master carpenter, and thoroughly loved the process of building, working in construction for over 40 years.

Before leaving Gig Harbor he was employed at Harrison Homes, where he built many beautiful homes but more importantly many relationships. He was recently employed Koehn with Construction in Fredonia, where he was just beginning to enjoy new friends and the camaraderie he shared with them. He felt he had found a new family at Koehn and was excited to start his projects.

Rob leaves behind his wife Kathy, his children Jessica, Robert, Anna, stepchildren David (Amy) and Alisha (Jeremy). Grandchildren, Logan, Haley, Natalie, Robert, Katie, JJ, Bea, Sam, new great grandson Damien and mother Patti Boll.

Rob had a tremendous love for the Lord, and he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A memorial service for Rob will be held October 14, 2pm at First Baptist Church, 220 S. Pennsylvania Avenue in Independence.
