Funeral Home WebsiteKimberly “Kim” Jon Hansen, 72, of Lenore, ID, passed away on October 31, 2023, in Spokane, WA. He was born on April 14, 1951, in Orofino, ID.
Kim was a beloved father, brother, and grandfather. He is survived by his daughter Jona Durousseau, son Jason Hansen, brother Craig Hansen, brother Scott Hansen, and grandchildren Eli Hansen, Toby Hansen, Shane Durousseau, and Daimen McTear. He was preceded in death by his father Albert Hansen, mother Joann Hansen, brother Chuck Hansen, sister Quinn Cleveland and granddaughter Tiara Durousseau.
Kim graduated from Pierce High School in Pierce, ID, and furthered his education at Lewis & Clark State College in Lewiston, ID.
Kim had a passion for education and spent many years as a high school teacher and basketball coach at Peninsula High School. He was dedicated to shaping the minds and lives of his students, leaving a lasting impact on the community. Kim also had an entrepreneurial spirit and was the proud owner of AoK Landscape, a successful small business in Gig Harbor, WA.
A celebration of Kim’s life will be held at a date to be determined. The details of the service will be announced by the family.
Kim will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His legacy as a dedicated educator, successful business owner, and loving family member will be cherished forever. May he rest in peace.
