Farmers Market opens 2023 season

The Gig Harbor Waterfront Farmers Market opened for the 2023 season under sunny skies on Thursday, June 1.

The market is noticeably larger this summer, with vendors taking up the entirety of Skansie Brothers Park. Highlights include a new Kids Corner booth, with fun activities for little ones, along with numerous dining option and the usual array of produce, flowers and crafts.

Hundreds of customers visited on opening day, when temperatures were in the 70s.

The market runs from 1 to 6 p.m. Thursdays through Sept. 14. Click on any photo below to see a gallery of pictures from opening day.
