Posted on August 19th, 2022 By:

Deputies found two people dead from “homicidal violence” at a home on Shady Glen Avenue in Olalla, according to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office identified the victims as Steven P. Shulz and Mina Shulz, both 51 years old.

According to a sheriff’s office Facebook post, a woman went to the home in the 12900 block of Shady Glen Avenue Thursday evening to check on her parents. She found signs of forced entry and blood inside and called 911.

Deputies arrived around 5:15 p.m. and found the remains. Detectives remain on scene to conduct the investigation. Shady Glen is closed to non-residents for most of Friday.

The statement from the sheriff’s office indicates that the investigation is in its early stages.

Anyone with information can contact Detective Jennifer Rice at (360) 337-5616 or [email protected]. The KCSO post said investigators are looking for anyone who may have witnessed “anyone suspicious in the area.”
