2024 Summer Sounds at Skansie schedule is set
The popular Summer Sounds at Skansie concert series returns July 16.
Arts & Entertainment Sponsor
Arts & Entertainment stories are made possible in part by the Gig Harbor Film Festival, a proud sponsor of Gig Harbor Now.
The concerts run from 6 to 8 p.m. on summer Tuesdays at Skansie Brothers Park in downtown Gig Harbor.
The lineup includes:
July 16: Wally & the Beaves, a seven-piece Pacific Northwest band playing hits from the 1950s, ’60s, ’70s and ’80s. Each member of the band dresses like an iconic character from the era.
July 23: Good Day Sunshine, a five-piece Seattle band that plays Beatles songs.
July 30: The ABBAgraphs, a Seattle-based band that covers songs by Sweden’s biggest musical export, from “Waterloo” to “Dancing Queen.”
Aug. 6: Victims of Love, an Eagles tribute band.
Aug. 13: Beadhead, a Portland-based band playing a tribute to Jimmy Buffet.
Aug. 20: Danny Vernon: Illusion of Elvis, who you may have guessed plays Presley songs.
Aug. 27: The Profits, Gig Harbor and Summer Sounds regulars who play “the music you forgot you loved.”
