The City Council approved a 6-month moratorium on short-term rental applications and adopted interim zoning controls that allow emergency shelters and housing, permanent supportive housing and transitional housing in designated areas.

The change will occur in 2023, when the county will also be able to ban fireworks those two days in extremely dry weather.
