Thank you for providing information on the “affordable housing.” I do agree that we do need to provide housing that is more affordable for all people. I do however have concerns about offering “ incentives” to builders. It is my understanding that one proposal involves further taxing residents in order to waive taxes for builders.
The city of Gig Harbor is studying many options to expand access to affordable housing — not just a multi-family tax exemption.
